New to the forums here. Looks like there is lots of good info.
I have a question concerning my A/C hoses on a Vintage Air unit that I'm installing in my 55 Chevy. The instructions state that I need to crimp the hoses with a "Beadlock" crimping tool. (Not Barb fitting). I was wondering where I can get an affordable tool to accomplish this task?
Thanks,
HAL
This is what I would suggest but if cost is a factor might check locally for a shop that repairs hoses.

I was at my local NAPA last week and they had an ac hose on the counter that they'd just put together in the back. They said that they make ac hoses. Check your local NAPA.
I just purchased the manual version of the crimp tool. I guess I'll be the only guy in town with one now.
How did the tool work for you. I just got the vintage air kit for my 71 cuda and I was looking for exactly the same thing as you. Which kit did you get?
