first question, on my 91 exploder,Im going to install a pf condenser and want input if I should just install it or hook it in series with the serpentine in it now?
second question,on wifes car.. 93 saturn SL2, going to install a thermstatic switch to cycle the clutch to keep evap from freezing, don't want to spend a lot of time on it so I want to cheat, I want to be able to cut a small piece of the plenum off to access the evap to insert the temp probe, then reseal. I no longer have access to tech info other than fords. can someone tell me where abouts under the dash to perform the surgery on the plenum??

#1...No need, the parallel flow condenser is all you need
#2..There is a service bulliten on those where you can adjust the control valve to prevent evap freezing..No need to re-invent the wheel...

already did the tsb procedure from gm.. was not satisfied with the temp out the vent, little better than room temp. thought I was sitting in my 91 explorer. so I put the adjustment back where it was and overcharged it again ,6 oz over.. and its chillin again..
had my readings at 200 & 26.5 .. overcharged the readings are 250 & 19 and freezing.. been over charged and iceing the evap for 3 yrs now, don't want to spend much time on this car..

installed the thermostat switch today and the operation was a success, it was too hard and time consuming to get to the evap, even if I cut a hole in the plenum,so I installed the temp probe by letting it follow the low side pipe thru the fire wall into the plenum and sealed it with a/c tape. secured it and wired it up.. set the blower on its lowest setting and drove it 6 miles.. still blows ice thru the vents and compressor cycles. evap never iced.. Thanks for all the info guys, thanks for the tips on the switch from ackits Tim..
