Idle Compensator Wiring

I bought the Holley compensator to boost idle when AC is on. It is a single wire power feed with ground to the mounting bracket. Where is the proper place to get the power source that is only energized when the compressor is on? Thanks.

Original wiring was for a POA system which had compressor engaged all the time. Best thing I can suggest is thru a relay. Relays don't draw much on the coil side so you won't overload the compressor circuit. Then run straight battery voltage thru a fuse on the contact side of the relay.

Just connect it to the clutch wire (in parallel with the compressor). Current draw is not enough to worry about, it's going to use much less than the clutch does.
