Was reading the thread over on the ac/erotic bulletin board. Sanden is known in my area to have one of the loudest rubbles around. They have gotten better but if the complaint is 70's or 80's designed compressors. Saden stacks up with the R4 on noise. Sorry Norm but it's true. Also talked with my connection at one of the companies mentioned as a source for these bad CW compressors. Poster has not bought from them since 2002!

Sometimes a post just doesn't seem to add up. Thank goodness all we have to worry about is which space heater or vacuum cleaner to get!

Happy Holidays everyone.

Understand the validity of the post...but we all, at least, most of us understand where the majority of compressor noise issues arise from.....!
Perhaps, it is much better that this 'poster' no longer buys from CWI.....and probably most other suppliers may feel the same way.

Sorry for not calling back the other day, TRB.....got busy and of course, this old mind simply got distracted.

Hope ya'll have a great holiday.

All I want for Christmas is for this devastating asthma to disappear as quickly as it showed up.

Plain a simple, all you smokers quit now before it's to late! This is a suggestion from a 20 year smoker which quit 7 years ago. You do not want to go through what I am currently dealing with! Darn it, I'm fat, single, have diabetes and now can't breathe. If I were a liberal I would have to jump off a bridge or something with all those negatives working against me!

Ice as for not calling me back. It was expected from a chump like you!

Just adding a little humor is all. Happy Holidays!!!

"I'm fat, single, have diabetes"

What are you worried about - I'm skinny, single, have no hair, and I'm a bloody immigrant!

"I'm fat, single, have diabetes"

With some of us, nature or God,your choice has dealt us a bad hand, you are like my younger brother, Tim, diabetes, already had two heart bypasses, overweight, but somehow, still kicking. We all smoke, and a lot worse things than tobacco, 96% of our energy is obtained by burning some pretty toxic stuff, like gasoline that is a thousand times worse than cigarette smoke, especially if you live in a traffic congested area. But we live in a society loaded with hypocrites.

My son is missing over half of his digestive system, wife's co-worker 15 year old daughter recently died of massive cancer, the list is endless. One bit of hope for millions is stem cell research, but you already know our glorious leader views on that. Are you sure it's asthma and and some new irritant that crept into your area. Crept up on us thanks to Land O-Lakes and four of my kids were diagnosed with asthma until we finally figured out what was going on and got the hell out of there.

Would be nice if MVAC compressors was our only problem, hope you don't mind me using the off topic section to find out what else is good and bad.

Heck no Nick. I'm just glad we don't have to battle porn posts daily. What I was saying was, if all we have to worry about is a vacuum cleaner post were doing ok around here.

Say what you want Nick but I have seen the effects of smoking first hand. I'm not going to preach to anyone but my advice is to stop.

Time to get ready for today's event. Enjoy the day everyone!

Could be worse Tim, could be fat, have diabetes, can't breath and be married.

TRB,
Call you back? Why don't you ever come to Texas?
Thanks, 25% of the compressors globally are Sanden, so if you can Google up another noise complaint from a half what-s-it thread from the dark side, you'll please let us all know what you think about that. I won't waste anybody's time on an answer to an obscure here-say anemones comment from erotic. As the Germans say, Now, let's make some nails with heads
Frankly, I'd rather speculate on the Cowboys upcoming win over Green Bay.

Norm I would love to get back and see you all. Andy at the big O has been on my case for a couple years to come back to Texas. I agree the Sanden is a good compressor. I'm just saying you and I both know the 508 had a rumble to it! Won't even mention the shaft seals!

Dallas over the greenbay pukes by 50!

I would not pick a fight with you. I know Dallas is going to spank GB. Well I'm hoping Dallas spanks GB! We both know Sandens had or have a rumble at a certain RPM. I don't even want to get into how many 507/508 shaft seals I have replaced. It was nice of the hot rod guys to chrome the hub cover to prevent oil sling. But lets not forget it was and is a darn good compressor. As always you are entitled to correct anything you think is incorrect in my comments.
