Year: 1992
Make: Oldsmobile
Model: Eighty Eight Royale
Country of Origin: United States

My A/C stopped blowing cold air so I bypassed the heater and it began blowing cold again. It would then only blow cold air due to the bypass. During winter i went went back through the heater for the warm air. It is getting warm again and i bypassed the heater to get the cold air back and now it only blows warm air whether it is bypassing the heater or not. What can i do to get some more information for you guys to get me some better help. Let me know what i need to do to get the information and ill relay it back to this thread. thanks for your help.

For starters we will need to know what the pressure readings are. If possible how much oil and refrigerant is currently in the system. Look at your different connections for signs of leaks, oily spots.

Could be low on refrigerant.
As TRB stated, pressure reading will rule that out.

When you bypassed the heater, what did you do? Could be a malfunctioning blend door.
Is the compressor clutch engaged? Is it cycling frequently?

The more info you give us, the more we can help you solve the problem.
