Is there a special tool to remove dodge a/c connections

EverydayDiesel on Fri May 09, 2008 10:26 PM User is offline

I am having a very difficult time removing any of the connections on my 2001 dodge ram. There is a C clip that i slid off with no problems but the pipe/lines are stuck together.

Do I need a special tool to remove them?

If you are creative you can make the tool out of a plastic oil bottle cap or safety seal. You simply cut a round strip of the rim and trim it to the circumference of the fitting. You slip it under the spring and there you go!
