Does anyone know where I can find an adjustable cycling switch that would fit on the accumulator of a stock 1994 Ford Taurus SHO so that I can lower the low pressure cut in pressure for the compressor to keep the evap cooler in between cycles? I see on here there are several switches that are adjustable, but I'll need one that fits my connection and harness. I guess as long as it fits the accumulator, I could change the harness to make it work. Please let me know. If I just bought a new OEM switch, does anyone know about what the threshold would be for it to re-engage the compressor as far as what pressure?

You should still have the big square plug on the cycle switch in 1994. Most of those are adjustable, the screw is down between the pins in the switch.
If for some reason you have a different connector, the pigtail to fit that switch is available.

In dry climates, you can adjust the evaporator temp down. I usually pay more attention to the cut in pressure, than the cut out. The time that the evaporator spends above freezing needs to be long enough to de-ice @ low blower speed. As long as it spends about 5 seconds above the 33f pressures you are usually ok - at least here in less than 20% humidity.

TRB......THANKS!!! I found that link by searching keywords "cycling switch" but in the decription that comes up there is nothing that says it is an adjustable FORD LPCO. I visually id'd it and thought it was the one.
Bohica....you're exactly right, that is what mine looks like totally....however mine if just in the top of the accumulator and mounted vertically instead of the pics that you have that are horizontal. Exact same switch, so they are adjustable!!!?? I did not know that screw was in there as I cannot see down into it from the top being where it is.....I will get a mirror and flash light on it this afternoon. What I want to do is LOWER the cut IN pressure so that my evap is a tad cooler rather than letting it warm to a temp consistent with 44psi which is the cut IN as of now. My cut out is fine, 21psi. I agree, don't want it TOO too low as it won't have time to dethaw.
This is GREAT info, I am going to look at my switch tonight and see if it has that screw, then my only question become which way to turn the screw for lower cut in vs. higher cut in. :-)

Good news....came home stuck my gauges on the system.....was still cycling today in accordance with my post from yesterday. Pulled off the cycling switch harness and sure enough there was the screw. I unscrewed it a little and tested, got my CUT IN at 36-37 rather than 44, got my CUT OUT around 17 rather than 21. Drove it, blowing 26-27deg air with 85amb. and warmed up to ONLY 39-40deg with compressor cycle rather than 48.5. THAT is acceptable. I learned a lot doing this that will be applicable going forward. I figure that switch probably has slightly de-calibrated itself as it has aged. I had no idea it was adjustable, what a GREAT design. THANKS TO ALL THAT HELPED, I THINK I AM FIXED.
Only thing is that it gets REALLY humid here, I will have to monitor and make sure that I don't freeze the evap in the humid summer coming. If I have that issue, I will detune that switch a little.
