Year: 1993
Make: Toyota
Model: Pickup
Engine Size: 22R
Refrigerant Type: R12
Country of Origin: United States
The schrader valve ports on my 1993 (late year) are not standard. I have been searching for information on anyone who knows the proper adapter I will need in order to charge my A/C system. The A/C system is a factory unit and is R12. I have the freon, a standard hose set/manifold gauges, but when I started to add the refrigerant, the hose set was slightly larger than the schrader valve ports connections. All connection are the same size; high-low identical. Does anyone have some input on this dilemma? Thanks in advance.

Thats weird. Should be a larger one on the low side and the smaller one on the high side. They are screw on fittings and are on the top of the compressor?
I'm looking at a '92 here, there are fittings both on the compressor (redundant) and on the lines. The ones on the lines are standard 1/4 flare. The low side line port is near the compressor and the high side is on the liquid line near the firewall. Not sure about the ones on the compressor, plastic caps don't want to come off easily.
Anyone with some input would be most appreciated.

My 86 Toyota (R12) has all the same size schrader valves and caps.
