Year: 96
Make: chev
Model: suburban
Engine Size: 350
Refrigerant Type: ???
Ambient Temp: 100+
Pressure Low: ???
Pressure High: ???
Country of Origin: United States

Just picked up this beauty Saturday, had the AC charged up by Jiffy Lube Sunday, it took a pound of (unk) juice and the young man said it was putting out 60 degrees at the dash.

AC seems to run cool, not cold. Not nearly as cold as my 01 silverado p/u.

I can't do all the troubleshooting that you folks do; lack of tools, training, expertise etc.

I am looking for a place I can take her to get the work done, someplace where I won't get bent over the hood and, you know.

Any suggestions of a place, here in Phoenix?

Muchas grass!

"Yesterday I was a 'burger flipper'....today I'm an A/C technician at '(#%%*)*"
Had something to say....but then.....someone would call me a 'smart ass'....well at least they got part of it right......
However, for sure...get your vehicle to a good shop......AMA,INC...site sponsor is a great place.....at least they know what the heck is happening under the hood. Get this vehicle to them as soon as possible..with the temps in your area....the great unknown factor of how much refrigerant is in the system...and the possible damage that may occur because of simply 'topping off' a system.....with todays critical recharge rates.....topping off went out with the trash......get the system serviced as it should be....then...and then can a true scope of system performance be obtained.
Good luck!!!!
