Hi All -

I'm new to this forum and only know the basics about auto AC systems.

I am doing a resto-rod type restoration of a 1959 Cadillac Limousine. As a result of the modifactions the former owner did, I have to have a new core support fabricated. I have purchsed a radiator and the 30.5 x 19 Parallel Flow Condenser. At this point, I'm only focusing on what I have to consider while designing the new core support.

I felt confident that the 30.5 x 19 Parallel Flow Condenser would be more than enough condensor for two separate AC units, but a friend voiced some concerns. He suggested I may what to add a second condensor to get more out of the system.

Please advise me on this. Thanks, Chuck aka 59_Limo

I order the condenser from ACKITS. As shown by the details below:

Code Name
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
12-0511A 12-0511A - FSHE PF Condenser (19.5 X 30.5)

I sent them an email about the condenser already. The one I received is not exactly what I had expected. I'm sure when ACKITS gets back after the holidays, I'll get an answer to may email.

In the meantime, here's the pictures you requested.

The picture I recall when I order was similar to...

The one I rec'd was black as shown below:

I remember them saying the condenser had to be drop shipped. Ironically, this condenser does not appear on their site anymore.

Thanks for your help!

This condenser will be enough for two systems. We will often install a remote condenser if the system will have more that two evaporator units. You will need to make sure you will have plenty of air flow to this condenser to make it efficient. Some of the local limo guy have Electric fans to help with this sitting at idle speeds for a period of time. Hope this helps and have a Safe New Years……

Good to see you purchased a real PF condenser and as Jack mentioned it will handle two evap cores without any issues as long as you have good air flow.

I checked and did not see an email from you. I have just added a new spam filter as the BS ads were getting out of hand. If you have further questions feel free to post or email me and I'll see what I can help with.

PS: What's a holiday? You mean when Jack is out goofing off while I'm at the office!
