Orafice tube 2002 Mustang

Helping a friend change compressor and orifice tube but don't know where tube is located. Any help appreciated.

It's inside the liquid line which is a one piece unit. So to replace the OT you replace the liquid line.

Thanks TRB you are correct, what should Hi and Lo pressures be at 60 ambiant.

At 60 degrees it's hard to give you pressures, they vary from car to car, but you are in the ballpark. With a factory R134a system, you pull your vacuum and charge the "factory" amount of R134a back in. You have to be careful of adding to much oil if the system wasn't flushed, add only for the componants changed. If those are the pressures with the new comnpressor, how is it cooling? but it will be hard to tell at low temps... But so far it looks fine..Hope this helps..

Here is a link for the Temp Chart, but best to have temps above 70deg for best results. Hope this helps and good luck…
