chmura on Thu July 02, 2009 12:00 AM User is offline

Year: 2001
Make: Toyota
Model: Corolla
Engine Size: 1.8
Refrigerant Type: r134a
Ambient Temp: 85
Country of Origin: United States

I am going to replace my condenser and drier on Friday. I cannot seem to find out much oil to put back in the system? Also how much refrigerant do I put in?

I tried to search the net but could not locate the answer.

Thank you in advance, this is a great site!

Thanks for the info!

Okay I installed a new condenser and drier and O-rings.

Everything looks good. I am getting 27F out of my vents at idle. My AC was very cold before thought, so this is normal.

I set the gauges to the following:

Low Pressure: 30 psi
High Pressure: 200 psi

I set these pressures at IDLE though..

Will it hurt anything if I set these pressures at IDLE??
