hope I didnt scew this up!!!

guys....

I evacuated the system, replaced dryer and flushed evaporator and condensor.

Manual called for 4 oz of oil to be added back after this...

After the parts replacement, I unscrewed the low side port on the compressor and poured the oil into the compressor. Then I buttoned everything up (replaced all the o-rings as i went.

I then drew a vacuum to -29. Let it sit for 2 hours.

Then I recharged.. now blowing 45 degrees at vents with ambient temp at 100!

QUESTION: Was this the right way to add oil to the system?

100 degree ambient, blowing 45 degrees from the vent, you did just fine. BTW, on the assembly lines most compressors have the full oil charge in them when installed, so if it didn't slug when it started, relax and enjoy the cool air..
