Condensor/Dryer positioning - Does it matter?

Year: 1965
Make: Ford
Model: Mustang
Engine Size: 200ci
Refrigerant Type: 134A
Country of Origin: United States

1965 Mustang 6 cyl

Today I installed the new AC bracket and new sanden compressor. Yahoo! I hope to install the condensor and receiver-dryer tomorrow if weather permits, but I have a question.

I bought the car 4 years ago and I took pics of the mustang prior to tear-down. The pic shows the condensor positioned with the discharge line routed to the bottom of the condensor. A diagram I have from a mustang ordering house shows the condendor flipped to accept the discharge line at the top. Does it matter, and if so, which is correct? As always, thanks!! -Maccer

Large line should be on top and the drier should be attached to the smaller line (bottom) somewhere between the condenser and expansion valve.
