Year: 1973
Make: Chevrolet
Model: Impala Custom
Engine Size: 350
Refrigerant Type: 134a
Country of Origin: United States

I have a 73 Impala with poor air flow from the vents. I was told that i needed new doors(I need to know the correct name of the doors that allow the air in) in order for the air to flow properly. more air is going to the floor than through the vents. what type of foam padding can i use to stop the air flow from coming out of the heater box and to flow through the ducts? Please help.

I had a 73 Caprice with a 400. The ac with the POa system w/ R12 would run you out it was so cold. And this was in Florida. I have a dogged factory service manual. I'll look it up this weekend and rely if you don't get an answer.

I went to home depot and got some all purpose adhesive backed foam weatherstripping to redo all my doors. It worked rather well.
