What do you mean you don't want to put it together rotated wrong.I ordered my seals from ackits and want to get started this afternoon..Any tips for fixing a belly leak to someone that has never been inside a v-5 would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

H-6 compressors can easily be rotated wrong-those were on the Camaro prior to your model year- you must have a 3.8L engine to have a V-5, the 8 cylinder engines have a V-7........

The number one A/C diagnostic tool there is- is to know how much refrigerant is in the system- this can only be done by recovering and weighing the refrigerant!!
Just a thought.... 65% of A/C failures in my 3200 car diagnostic database (GM vehicles) are due to loss of refrigerant due to a leak......
