Replace Yellow Manifold Gauge Hose R134A

Country of Origin: United States

I need to replace my Yellow maifold gauge hose. I use this center hose as the charging line and as the vacuum line.
The hose is a 1/2 inch I think. I ordered a replacement hose off of Amazon but it had a valve core installed on one end. When it was hooked up to my vacuum pump it would not work because there was nothing to press the valve core down. My old hose just has two screw on ends. No quick changes or blow back, etc.
I keep searching online for a replacement but most say anti blow back.
What type hose do I need?
It's 72" long. The outside diameter of the hose is 1/2". The screw on fittings measure 1/2" inner thread diameter.

Just remove the valve core.....
On an R134a hose, the side with the valve depressor goes to the vacuum pump/refrigerant tank, but if it's an R12 hose, just remove the valve core.. don't lose the rubber gasket though....

Sorry for not being clear. Its not exactly a standard valve core. I cant unscrew it. Its larger around than say a tire valve core. It wont hook up to the vacuum pump because there is nothing on the vacuum pump to depress this valve core. Is this considered a blow back feature?

Simply try to put it on the vacuum pump, turn the pump on and see if it draws air in, it sounds like the right hose for R134a, it's like an isolation valve, so you can unscrew it from the pump and no air will get it the line when you hook up to the tank.. give it a try and let us know...

And if you're using it on a standard 1/4 inch vacuum pump connection you will need the adaptor for the R134a fitting that screws over the 1.4 inch fitting on your pump, but it should screw right on an R134a tank.....

Adaptor for 1/4 to R134a
