when i start truck works great when i stop truck and restart it blows warm if i keep turning ac button on and off it come back sometimes it seems worst when temp outside is 80 and above
When the AC fails, push the AC button on, with engine running, and see if the AC compressor is actually turning (I suspect it is not); this means the center part, not the outer pulley. The AC electric clutch clicking "in" by magnetism is called "engaging".
So if the system is on, and the AC clutch is not engaging, CAREFULLY tap the center with a wooden hammer handle or similar to see if it clicks in. If so, the AC clutch gap might need to be narrowed a little. I doubt that it's just the belt being loose because you'd hear it squeling, maybe even smoking a little.
