Year: 2002
Make: Jeep
Model: Liberty
Engine Size: 3.7

Hi, I have a 2002 liberty limited with the 3.7L. My A/C compresser siezed last Sept. and I replaced it. I did not use it much until recently, The system pressures are all good but it blows really cold for about 15 minutes then it blows warm air. If I turn it off for 10-15 minutes it blows cold again then warm. Has anyone else had this problem?

update low pressure side 45
high pressure side 175
Both readings are after about 5 minutes of running.
Question: how hot should the high pressure line be? mine is so hot you can barely touch it and that seems to be when the A/C stops working

Pressures change along with the ambient temp.. you could have a clutch gap problem.. when it begins to blow warm, check to see if the compressor is engaged..if not, use a screw driver (And watch the belts) and tap the front hub and see if it draws in..if it does, you may need to adjust the air gap...
