I have a 1994 Mazda Navaho and need to charge it.
Compressor comes on but not cooling.
Can't get it to take freon. Reads 125 psi on the low side.
How do you jump pressure switch to allow freon to go in?
Thanks for any help!
If it reads 125psi on the low side, it is pretty close to properly charge based on static pressures. Your best bet is to evacuate the system, leak check it and have it properly recharged with R134a as charging with a can is just guess work. This will let you know the performance of the system. I would also recommend getting a set of gauge's so you can monitor more than just the low-side readings.
