converting to R34 from HC

AZ442 on Thu July 22, 2010 11:15 AM User is offline

Year: 1970
Make: Olds
Model: 442
Engine Size: 455
Refrigerant Type: To R34
Ambient Temp: 90

After the negative feed back on my choice of using HC (enviresafe) in my POA A6 system, I have evacuated the system and converting to R34. I had the HC in the system 3 weeks and prior to HC I had replaced the dryer, exp valve, hoses and completely flushed the sys and added 11oz of Ester oil.

I intend to adjust the POA 1/2 turn CCW, add adaptor fittings and pull vac on the sys. Do I need to change the dryer again??

any other changes I need to be aware of??

And YES this is my first rodeo. Want to do it correct this time. R12 is not an option due to asking price of $60 per pound plus install price.
