BMW Seltec Conversion - looking for cross ref number

Cambridge on Mon September 06, 2010 3:31 PM User is offline

Year: 1987
Make: BMW
Model: L7 (735i)
Engine Size: 3.5
Refrigerant Type: R134a

Hi,
I have a 1987 BMW that was converted to R134a and Seltec compressor by previous owner. The compressor is seized and I would like to replace it.
The label on the compressor says "Comp. Type TM-15HD", "Part NO 0630-7366".
It seems the 0630-7366 is an old part numbering scheme. Seems the current scheme seen on new compressors shows numbers like 488-450xx, etc.
Is there some way I can cross reference this number to a modern Seltec/Valeo number?
Thanks!

I have tried a couple placed with no success. If you call us with the clutch size, pulley configuration and line orientation, I am sure we can match it up with one we have available. The body styles of the TM-15HD compressors were all the same so no problem there. 1-800-648-4475.
