High side pressure fitting question

67swb on Wed September 22, 2010 8:14 PM User is offline

Year: 67
Make: Chevy
Model: C10
Engine Size: 350
Refrigerant Type: R12

I'm redoing my hoses for a factory POA A/C setup using a R4 compressor. I believe it's the LOW pressure fitting on the POA valve. The original hoses had the HIGH pressure fitting near the compressor on the hose going to the condenser. Can I put the HIGH pressure fitting on the fitting that connects to the TXV (liquid line)?

I just received all my hoses from AMA and forgot to order the vale cores for the low press. and oil bleed on the POA. Does anyone know where I could get those or have the part#s?

Thanks,
Jay

oil bleed line schrader is SPECIAL. Do NOT use a regular schrader here.

What about the high pressure fitting? Can I put it in the liquid line on the TXV fitting?
