Year: 2004
Make: Toyota
Model: Sienna
Refrigerant Type: R134A
AC quit a couple weeks ago. Have never serviced the AC. Vehicle is a 2004 with 105K miles. Found a bad relay for the compressor clutch and replaced. Added 22 ounces of R134a. Don't have a set of gauges (will be getting some soon), but I have a cheap gauge for the low side. Reading 29 psi at 75 degrees, so I may be a little low still. AC works now and is cold. Will monitor to see if it leaks. If it does not leak, should I add some oil? What type of oil? I added the Arctic Freeze Ultra Synthetic:

Says it replaces refrigerant and oil (on the can).

Why did you add refrigerant if the problem was a bad relay? Now you want to add oil???
I jumpered the relay first and found the refrigerant to be low. After adding refrigerant, I figured the compressor clutch would engage but it didn't. That is when I switched out the relay. Working fine now, hopefully there isn't a leak. Just asking about adding oil. Not really sure if it is necessary. Probably not, if there hasn't been a loss of oil.
