mossyoak1971 on Wed August 03, 2011 5:43 PM User is offline

Year: 1995
Make: Honda
Model: Accord
Engine Size: 4cyl
Refrigerant Type: 134a

Thanks for any input,my question is my compressor clutch will not kick in and out no matter if i idle it up.The air is cool inside but it will not kick in and out is there something i can check or could it be the freon low is my question?I tried to add freon to it but my gauge is reading in the red when i open the valve to put the freon in.But when i take it off close the valve on the freon to check the gauge it says in the blue which is good but the compressor never kicks out no matter what.Im not no mechanic by no means but i do have a little skills when it comes to things like this if anyone could give me some help.

Thanks John

Getting cool air? Leave it the ---- alone! That's not just at you, that's the #1 rule of auto A/C.

It's normal not to cycle in hot weather.

OK,thank you for the info also i found out why my gauge was not giving me a good reading the connector was not locking down and i had to hold it down with my hand to give me the actual reading on the level. But thank you very much for the info.

Thanks John
