coolf150 on Fri March 16, 2012 6:00 PM User is offline

Year: 2004
Make: Ford
Model: F150
Engine Size: 5.4
Refrigerant Type: R-134a
Country of Origin: United States

I am replacing everthing except compressor and condenser. since other parts are new, they shouldnt need flushing, I wouldnt think.
Anyway the compressor and condenser are the only parts on the vehicle right now. Can I flush only these two?

Sure, but you don;t flush a compressor. Read Hecat's tech paper in the flushing forum.

Compressor Flushing & Testing Procedure

The above link will cover how to properly oil flush the compressor.

The condenser should be properly backflushed with a solvent and then dried.
