Had to remove recently purchased compressor for warranty replacement. My Ford has the cut-off valves at the compressor. Closed both valves and the Suction side held, but the Discharge side is 'hissing' at me. I take that as a bad sign. It never crossed my mind to replace the seals when I had the lines rebuilt at ACKits. So, my question: lost cause and need to evacuate/recharge with R12....right?
