Can MP39 (R401A) used in R12 MVAC?

MP39 is a interim blend refrigerant meant for drop-in CFC 12. It's interim as its still ozone depleting.

I acquired some and was wondering if it can be used in MVAC. If so, what would be the right amount?

Replacements based on R-22 such as that one have not worked well in MVAC systems. It tends to permeate through rubber hoses readily. The preferential loss of R-22 changes the composition and messes up the performance of the blend.

OK for stationary systems that are all metal though.
