Hello... i'm a newbie here. i'm trying to fix my son's a\c on his 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer .. we put the gauges on, then run the engine at 2000 rpm . we got low side 120 and high side 125 and the compressor is engaged running and no cold air coming inside the car.. can someone help me out with the next step . and what to be looking for.. thanks rich
Make sure both hand wheels on the guages are closed. If they are, your compressor is not doing any work. Is the hub of the compressor turning?
Thanks for your reply Dougflas... Yes both handles are closed tight and yes the hub is turning... so the compressor is bad.. now i need to get a new compressor. also Drier, and condenser? whats your advice now?
My son and I are trying to do this job ourselves. i can't find a step by step manual to help us thru this.. for the taking down of drier, condenser. i can find steps to recharge the system.. i would appreciate someone help me out... thanks..
