Year: 1997
Make: Ford
Model: F150
Engine Size: 4.6
Refrigerant Type: R134
Pressure Low: 0
Pressure High: 0
Country of Origin: United States

This is my personal truck, ac has not worked since I bought it used. Well the heater core is leaking and I'm gonna tear the dash out and do the deed. I did pull a vacuum early last fall on the ac and could hear somewhere either right at the firewall or in the dash a sucking, didn't last long and didnt mess with it further. Was going to replace evaporator while dash is apart, dryer, etc. What about the condensor on these things, are they easily flushed? Looking at it, looks like I need to replace the hose assembly also, has a muffler in the line. Any tips on this truck is appreciated. Jim.

Well, I plan on keeping the truck till it falls apart, got to looking at the condensor, kinda beat up, the lines are pretty corroded and decided to spend a few more bucks and replace them. After tearing the dash out this coming week, the rest will be minor stuff.
