Parallel flow condensers

Stryped on Tue June 04, 2013 4:23 PM User is offline

I am thinking of adding a parallel flow condenser to my 1990 mustang and retrofit.

I also have the ability to order 22 lbs of r-12 locally for 360 bcks.

1st, will a parallel flow allow my car to cool as well as r-12.

Also, looking at the parallel flow on ackits, there is an economy version and a more expensive version. Do they perform the same and what is the difference?

I appreciate it!

Biggest difference is the Econ version which I just named it that to off set it form the other. Is they are a little thinner and painted black. Performance is very similar size to size. Durability, we will have to see but the are constructed well.

PF condensers help that is for sure. But in my opinion, nothing beats an R12 system for auto a/c in a system designed for R12.
