Freestyle scroll valve

Year: 2005
Make: Ford
Model: Freestyle
Engine Size: V6
Refrigerant Type: R-134A
Ambient Temp: 90
Pressure Low: 90
Pressure High: 125
Country of Origin: United States

Hey guys, been a while since i posted. Had a customer bring in 05 Freestyle complaining of no ac at idle, said it worked decent while driving. I evacuated the system and it had the proper amount of 134a for the vehicle. Gauges read 90 low side / 125 high side at idle. And 60 low side / 150 high side at 2500 RPM.

I've installed a few compressors on Freestyles in the past( no fun) that were obviously going out(knocking) but this compressor is nice a quit. Acts like it wants to work. Thats why I'm thinking it might be the valve. I've changed the pressure value in a few GM compressors in the past with similar pressure readings and it fixed the issues.

I'm thinking it's the scroll valve causing the problems. This sound about right to you guys? Hate to charge this lady for a new compressor if it don't need it.
