HNBR (green) orings rated for fuel?

I know, kind of bizarre question. I had to test the fuel pressure on my 90 chevy truck. I installed an adapter fitting (glorified tee fitting) at the fuel input line at the TBI. I replaced the existing o-ring with a green one from my A/C set. Just wondering if these o-rings are suitable for use in a fuel line. Thanks.

Thanks. I was hoping I wouldn't need to replace it with something else.

Yeah, remember that hardware store O-rings are typically for use with water/plumbing.

or as drive belts for CD and DVD drives...

or as watch band end retainers...
