clutch will not engage

Refrigerant Type: r134a

the only way i can get me ac to work is to force my compressor to engage by bypassing through the relay and when i put the gauge on the high pressure line it pings all the way out can anyone help me

You say you put a gauge on it? What's the low and high side pressures?

need to know the pressures on the high and low side. typically this will point to your system being so low on refrigerant that the compressors low pressure switch has turned it off until there is enough refrigerant in the system to start the compressor. you can try adding some refrigerant into the system, but if you get the refrigerant in and the compressor never turns on this is gonna be more of a mechanical issue with the compressor
