Now being a diabetic I don't eat much fast food. But today I'm in a rush doing crap around the hose and there was McDonald's right outside the Home Depot. This crap is horrible, how in the world do they stay in business. And some people feed this to there kids daily. They should be charge with, well I won't go there but this food is bad. Its not cold or funny smelling just bad tasting. Hell even the American fries are limpy now.

Not complaining as I like the heat but this is one warn day to be out putting new 1x3x8 modeling around the garage. But it is the only day I have available, and they call it a holiday! Think it might help if I put a fan in the garage?

We are enjoying 68*F, has been a cool summer so far, have yet to kick on the central. Ha, so what to you expect from a non-tipping fast food joint that runs kids butts off at minimum wage on a holiday. If these places depended on me for business, they all would be broke, I got food poisoning enough times to pack my own lunch when travelling, but I did stop at one about two months ago. The food was okay at that place as I am still alive, but I didn't get change back for a dollar. Matter of fact I didn't get change back from a twenty buying for two others, ha, where's the beef, where's the bun, where's the french fries.

I require more than twice that to pay my taxes and other bills. You can wait.

So I have to be taxed double then so I can have some extra in the end. Two months of Teddy's bar bill and 3/4 of the Ketchup cash!

After my accident all banged up and at the request of the defense, the insurance company I was putting a claim against, I was forced to attend a U of WI rehabilitation program along with a group of seemingly very healthy people for evaluation. Besides the humiliation of this event had to ask these other people why they were there. Most were drawing SSI payments and most were alcoholics, friendly, wanted me to go out drinking with them at night, but I really considered that an abuse on the system. I was also having severe trauma headaches at the time and the last thing I wanted was a noisy bar.

I thought these programs were for banged up people or people inflicted with severe diseases, not a bunch of drunks. A bunch of our SS money must be going toward this, but I understand since then they were cracking down. That insurance company paid for my stay, the government picked up the tab on the others, seems to me, they needed a good kick in the ass.

Nick I don't care what anyone's political party is! If they need help great let's give it to them. It is the abuse that gets my blood boiling. That and the nerve of some to think the solution is just to add additional taxes to cover another program. If I started seeing some of these guys cutting checks to help fund these programs maybe I could see the additional increase. But all they want is for someone else to pay for the ride.

Ha, Johnson made me a republican and Nixon made me an indendent, on the state, county, or city level either the democratic or republican party can be very corrupt. I wouldn't be a bit suprised if Bush and Kerry are good buddies reporting to the same corporate head with saying anything that the public wants to hear. I should be a republican, because I am conservative in nature, but they are spending huge amounts of money and have been running this country into debt and I can't be a democrat because they are giving this nation away and any independent running for office is a bad joke. But just remember, your vote counts and is very important, so please vote.

The independent party has caught my eye a couple of times but still registered as a republican. One thing you do not have to worry about me is voting. I think it is one of the most important things we can do as US citizens. Many individuals have died protecting this right! Voting at a minimum is honoring those that gave up their life so we have the availability to vote.

Ha, I am living in the wrong state, the last several primaries including this last one were already settled before they came here. Would be nice when voting to have a choice. I spent five very long years of my life in the military, wasn't very comforting back then that we were cheaper to our government dead than alive. Still not right today that defense contractor CEO's make millions while our guys on the front lines have to get food stamps to feed their families. Maybe my attitude has changed, but at one time, I was willing to die for my country, had that beaten in to me.

No sense in getting serious over this thread, LOL, but it stills tees me off that I have but one life life to give to my country.

But reflect a moment on the last 65 years with all the wars and how the generals were canned that really understood the problems. WWII started the over 40 year cold war and we became enemies with our close allies, the Chinese that further exploded in the Korean War. What can be said about Viet Nam and all of our efforts in South American, and what can be said about Iraq today? One very bad thing about our politicians, they think very short term, they have to we our election system. George Washington was a very exceptional man, but too many presidents since him have abused their power, and why should any one man rule a country as great as this one is?

Our military is more of a victim of our politicians and the latest crop are mostly draft dodgers, certainly not much choice.

Still would like to know where all that money came from to fight WWII, this country was in a severe state of depression at the time, but with 10% of the people controlling 90% of the wealth, it was just pocket change for them, they had to think about their own safety.

This can still be a great nation with good leadership and the IRS still goes after the little guy, Bill O'Reilly may claim he is supporting druggies, but I bet he is paying less taxes than you or me.
