Another Auto A/C Season has passed for the most part.

I just wanted to thank "everyone" which helped get the questions answered on this auto a/c forum. There is just no way I could handle all the questions myself. Heck I still learn a thing or two all the time reading the different posts. I know no one gets paid for helping on this site! It is just wonderful to see the help you all provide! Joe recently achieved the 1000 post mark, way to go! Hecat thanks for helping with all the flush questions. We know how important it is and you sure have added some expert suggestions on that topic. We also have some new faces which I like to see. The regular's, I could never thank you enough as "you" created the best auto a/c forum on the internet. Our daily records, traffic and posted success stories show the success this site has become. So as the temps drop to a mere 100 degrees I look forward to continuing the web updates on both this site and our main parts site.

Let's also not forget that the next MACS convention is being held in sunny Phoenix Arizona. Our doors will be open to anyone which would like to swing on by and see the place. We will also have a booth this year at the convention.

MACS Convention Information.

Thank you so much!

Gee, my wife and daughter switch on the AC when it's 68*F outside, too hot with the windows closed and don't want their hair blowing all over the place.

What do people do when it drops below 100*F in Phoenix? Turn on their heaters and wear a fur coat? Ha, seems like the season should last a tad bit longer.

Dang if it ain't September already, time goes by fast when you are having fun, even goes by fast when you aren't.

The mad rush is over for this year. Yes we still have lots of work to do before I say it completely over for the year. Just wanted to say thanks to all that help keep this forum working for our readers.

Below 100 degrees, coat weather!

I appreciate your comment Tim, and I am always happy to add my 2 cents and some opinionated views at times, as everyone knows. My focus on heat exchanger cleaning makes me knowledgeable on this one area only. I would also like to add a HUGE thank you to all the posting contributors for I have learned much more from them than I have been able to contribute.

My busy season started to taper off about two weeks ago, they'll still be some work to do before the snow comes.. But it was funny going into work today (took yesterday off) and saw my buddy with a sweatshirt on..Felt like turning around and going home...We've had nothing but off and on rain the past two weeks. This weekend may be remnants of a hurricane. The shore people are going to suffer, as it's usually their biggest weekend.. But all in all it's been a good summer. R134a prices came down, busier than the past few years, and as always, lots of questions to answer and help to offer..And I have to say this board is by far the best on the net, and I made it thru another season only being banned from "one board"... Oh well, there will still be compressors seizing on cars and trucks with sepentine belts, and a lot of other work to be done..But I am really NOT likeing the cold weather any more...Each year the arthritis gets a little worse, I get a little older...But thats the cycle I guess..I wish good weather to all of you for this holiday weekend, and a '"safe" one too..And remember, it's always hot somewhere in the country, so there will be questions to answer, people to help, and I too learn much more from this board than I could possible contribute...Stay safe and have a great Holiday....

If anyone deserves thanks it is YOU Tim for making this forum possible. I've met a lot of great folks here, a point I cannot emphasize enough, and have learned far more than I am able to give back. Not only that, I have a lot of fun with it all too!

As for my 1,000 post milestone well, it looks like I have a lot of catching up to do with you, Chick and NickD. But as Chick noted, now if only half of those posts were for helping people... yes, I probably spend too much time on the OT side of the board, but I figure Chick has got the rest covered, LOL!

One of these days I got to get out to the MACS convention and hopefully met some of you wonderful folks in person.

I cyber toast to Tim, our host, is order... cheers!

Joe

LOL... I checked the plane tickets and rental cars in Phoenix, and no way that's in my budget this year. The MACS hotel is a good deal though. Any idea where the next one will be?

Pretty sure it will be in Vegas next. Rental cars I can understand. Southwest should be a fair price to Phoenix.
