Found a good web site that sells a brass gear to replace the plastic the original comes with. Even has a how -to video on that site. Anyone needing some info can e-mail me. Seems to work well.

I did the same thing a couple of yrs ago- bought the brass one- thought I was saving big bucks- and I was- over the price of a new motor-- then I figured out that if you meerly rotate that gear 180 degrees that you can get twice the life out of it-turn the stripped section away from the worm- it only uses less then half the gear anyway....... and it costs nothing!!! I'll buy the brass gear the next time- only when I need it I did the other headlight that way...but good to know all there is about the subject...........

The number one A/C diagnostic tool there is- is to know how much refrigerant is in the system- this can only be done by recovering and weighing the refrigerant!!
Just a thought.... 65% of A/C failures in my 3200 car diagnostic database (GM vehicles) are due to loss of refrigerant due to a leak......
