Cell phones

Can't send photos with my new cell phone, but couldn't send text messages either until I purchased a package. They also sell packages to send photos. Had photos on my cell phone I wanted to save so got a phone USB cable. That didn't work, can't access the phone memory. But learned by buying a micro SD chip, could transfer the photos from my phone memory, transfer those to the chip, and download from the chip.

They sure put some thought into these phones to get more money out of you. Could just as well leave a voice message, its free. Do have a regular keyboard on my phone, but my fingers are ten times too large to use it. Asked people why they want text messaging, just want to communicate with them, but don't want to talk to them. Sounds a bit crazy to me, must be old fashion. Is good for sending an address, especially if that person doesn't have a good memory or an old fashion pencil and a piece of paper.

Voice messaging ain't that great either, those recordings go on for hours, even for a two second actual message.

Care to say what company and what model phone? Your post above is like someone ranting about how the new car he just bought gets terrible mileage, breaks down often, and is difficult to repair. But without saying what kind of car it is, makes it rather useless to the rest of us.

LG Banter US265, US Cellular. Do they all charge extra for texting and sending photos? One reason why we selected them, get reception at our home. See they also have the internet on phones now, games, MP3 players, etc.
