Maybe Nick D is right.

Perhaps Nick is right, we should have the FDA investigating the wild claims from the automotive snake oil sales people.

I can't wait for this company to get into the MVAC market - you will need to turn the heater on just to survive summer...

By far the worst piece of automotive BS this year. I was looking at the junk mail, and that just jumped out at me - on the back of a catalog I have never seen before. I guess P. T. Barnum was low balling his estimate...

Spending more time on batauto, stepdaughters' 98 went to hell with a broken timing belt idler pulley. A mystery as to how to time this thing. But decided to pitch her car anyway, unbelievable the rust damage she got this last year. Ford on her DOHC 2.0L Zetec engine just couldn't use three dimples on the timing gears with white lines on the belt. Need special tools to do the job and take half the engine apart. Crazy.

Her AC quit working last summer, had to tell her to roll down the window as my right hand was inoperative. Thought it was just a slow leak, but while under her car, the compressor outlet hose was rotted out that may be the problem. But in this last year, her entire car rotted out.

Did a net search on any vehicle within 75 miles of my home, could only find five vehicles for under $5,000.00. Only worth looking at was a 2002 Taurus that I drove 90 miles to look at. Dealer said it was perfect, only drove it a block, shimmied so bad was afraid the wheels were going off. But he still wanted twice the Kelly Blue book retail value for this pile of crap. Unbelievable.

She calls at 10:00 PM last Tuesday crying that her car wouldn't start, her mom and I were ready to pass out, I just had oral surgery and wasn't in the best of spirits. And we also just got four inches of snow in April! What a mess, but her mom drove out to get her home and I called AAA to bring her car home. Wish now I just left it there.

See that contraption has a low battery indicator, I got to get one of those, never no if my battery light is good or not. For EMI they claim, not much room in there to add a 20 ufd capacitor, that should do the trick, got to get that too. Not to mention the cigar lighter is miles away from the alternator. Nothing worse than a cigar lighter plug for a connector, but that became the standard. And most have a 15 amp fuse.

Why didn't I think of that? I still refuse to take pain killers, the side effects are worse than the pain. But could think of that if I took a full bottle, or maybe I should start smoking crack.

Oh, it was the now defunct FTC that took care of that, but if you have problems, just hire an attorney and pay him ten thousand bucks to get your 45 bucks back.
