Happy Holiday Everyone!

TRB on Wed December 24, 2003 5:14 PM User is offlineView users profile

Ackits.com and myself would like to wish all of you a very happy holiday, being politically correct!!! Our thoughts and prayers are with our old friend Mitch and his family, may he rest in peace! At this time I would also like to thank all that help answer the questions posted here. At times we may not see eye to eye on a subject but the chat always seems to be good natured for the most part. Take care, enjoy your family and may all your wishes come true.

Christmas Day was always and will always be in remembrance of Jesus Christ, whether we believe he is the son of God or not is up to each individual person. But he was a great philosopher on whose his teachings, this great nation of ours is based on, and everyone who enjoys freedom should at least pay this man a great deal of respect for these teachings.

There is no doubt Jesus is a historical figure that had a profound affect on how people should treat each other and this is what our nations founders and sequential congress thought on making this an official USA holiday as it is in many other countries of the world.

So in this light, let me, and my bride to be, wish all of you a very Merry Christmas. It's in the light of his teachings that we help each other, and this is a very good way to live.

Two young check out girls with all of the shopping I did, wished me a Merry Christmas, that was very good to hear, we should hear that more often.

Who says making a peaceful wish to another person is not politically correct? I feel politically corrupt is a better word for such people.

Nicks right, Christmas is Christmas, the hindus have divali and the muslims have Ramadan and we have Christmas. If we all agreed with each other all of the time life would have no colour.

I shall raise a toast to Mich, his family and all those who have moved on this year and hope that we are all here a year from now.

Merry Christmas folks!
