Wiring diagram and start tracing down your electrical issue. Could be a bad pressure switch or relay. An AllDAta subscription may help with the wiring diagram and test procedures.

I had power to the cycling switch. Jumped it and no Clutch movement. Pulled wire off compressor and had power. Turned clutch by hand a few times and hooked up wire. Started car and turned on AC. Clutch was working and AC is cold. I guess I have a suspect wire to the compressor or clutch is on its way out? I'm not big on replacing or trying to fix clutches since I don't know how. The dryer is also showing rust. What is the warranty for compressors from Arizona and does it have oil in it?

What does the clutch gap look like?

Do I need to use a feeler gauge for exact measurements?

A feeler gauge is best, but if it will take two business cards it it too wide.

Ideal gap is .010 to .015 - but .020 is fine, and .005 is good as long as it does not drag.

You manipulated the clutch plate, and it pulls in. Good place to start.

Just put a feeler on it and it is a tight .035 ?? Seems too wide? Yes? Why does it get that way ?

Gap is to wide, remove the 8mm bolt on the front of the pully, slide the clutch plate off and remove a shim, or use a thinner one until a business card is snug in the gap, or feeler gauges between .01 and .02..See pics below..Hope this helps.

Thanks. I'll give it a try!
Didn't want to start another thread. ACkits offers three different compressors for a 93 Jeep 5.2L?
Do you have a recommendation?
