What to use for SP-20 PAG

JoshRountree on Fri October 26, 2007 12:05 AM User is offline

Year: 1998
Make: Jeep
Model: Cherokee
Engine Size: 4.0
Refrigerant Type: 134a
Ambient Temp: n/a
Pressure Low: n/a
Pressure High: n/a
Country of Origin: United States

I replaced the condenser and the accumulator in my Jeep two weekends ago and getting the A/C recharged tomorrow. I told the guy I would be bringing my own refrigerant and oil but can't find SP-20 PAG anywhere. What can I use as a replacement? I've heard about PAG 100 but haven't found a definite answer. Also is one brand better than the other. I saw DuPont 134a at the parts store but all the refrigerant oil looked generic.

thanks!

SP-20 is PAG 100.

Any particular brand better than the others?
