What was the problem you're having? It's a small system, it might pay you to recover and charge the correct weight in. Don't try topping off with the death kits, unless you want to replace the system..But on those I have worked on, at around 80 degrees the high side is usuall around 170 to 180PSI.. Hope this helps..

at 85 degrees yesterday low was 22 to 40, high was up to 178, but vent temp was only 50 degrees. I used a water hose to wash out the condenser, but no change. The fan is coming on, all seems to be working well, but just not as cold as I think it should be. When i chaecked the pressure it ws 40 low and 250 high, vent temp wwas 40 degrees, but i felt the high was too high, so I removed some until the high came down to 178. any suggestions?

evacuate the system and recharge the exact amount called for, you can't remove and add, you need the "factory amount" charged into a deep vacuum before you start checking for problems..hope this helps...
