What a day...

A buddy called and asked if I could help charge his son's S-10. They replaced everything except the evap and needed me to evac and charge. No problem...I'll be right there.

Well it was about 1900, I roll up and it is in a dark driveway and they are working with flashlight and one drop light. The kid has his GF there, snapping gum with some great Cha-Cha's bust'n out of a low top, rolling her eyes, just wanting to go somewhere...all this kid is thinking of is getting some, and his old man is fed up with their antics.

...I get it vac’d out and recharged, and with the moment of truth upon us, we fire it up. WTF!! There is motor oil running EVERYWHERE. The kid didn’t hook up the oil cooler. Get that cleaned up, and restart the motor…clutch won’t engage…they had missed a plug connection.

Finally get this thing going and it blows cold air like new...2130 and I’m headed home…

That’s what friends are for…

OH, Thanks AZAC, If I hadn't learned so much help from you, I would'nt have been able to help!!

LOL!!

You're friends are certainly lucky that you took all the time to do that! If someone called me at 7pm, would have said I'm going to bed in an hour, we'll do it next weekend LOL

BTW, I have to ask you, do you know Jack Lemmon?
