I'm converting my '87 Camry from R-12 to R-134a. Things are going pretty good, but I ended up with a slow leak. With a black light I found a pretty obvious culprit, and when I took the fitting apart I found a severed o-ring, oops, result of a little over-tightening? I love it when I find something obviously wrong, that way I know I'm not wasting time... Anyway, while I had the black light out I noticed a narrow ring of dye around the sight glass. I've since seen posts that mention sight glass o-rings. Does anyone know if the sight glass on this vehicle has an o-ring or not?
Most do not, I've seen a few removable site glasses but not many. If it's removable it will have an allen bolt type face.
