Converting to a PF condenser

TheApocalyptican on Mon June 09, 2008 6:59 PM User is offline

Year: 1984
Make: Mercedes
Model: 500SEC
Engine Size: 5.0l
Refrigerant Type: R12

I am in the process of repairing almost my entire a/c system. I want to install an PF condenser instead of my tube/fin. I know I am going to have to go custom with the hoses and such. What I wanted to find out, is what I should do about size. My condenser is roughly 27"x16"x1" and ackits.com(what led me to here)doesnt seem to have any that are that big. Would a bit smaller condenser be the way to go, or should I contact them to find out if I can get one that is close to the size I need?

Go with as large a condenser as you can fit into the vehicle especially if you live in a very hot and humid area.

TRB, The owner of this site and store has more parts available than what is listed. I'm sure he has what you need.

Tim, get to work here!!!
