A6 metric vs standard threads

y2k600f4 on Thu August 14, 2008 11:03 AM User is offline

Considering a remanufactured or new A6 compressor off of AC kits website.

The remanufactured is part number 000020CP and has metric threads. The new is part number 20-10405 and does not say if it has metric threads. I believe the one in my vehicle has metric threads but I can easily change over to standard by changing the two mounting bolts and bolt for the AC line. Just wanted to check if the new was actually standard and if there was any issues in changing over ? Thanks.

Sorry for the delay as I did not get to the forum today. Yes the only difference is standard or metric bolts. Easy swap in most cases.
