Brand new 30 pounders leaking!

chris142 on Mon May 11, 2009 9:32 PM User is offline

Country of Origin: United States

Last thursday we ordered two Dupont 30 pounders.. That day I put one on my AC machine. I charged 1 car. Today I went to charge a car and the machine said "source tank empty". Sure enough the brand new one was empty.

So was the new unopened one! We called the supplier and they brought out 3 more. All 3 were leaking!

Here's what I found. Might have to copy and paste it.

It works if you copy and paste the URL into a new window. Wow. I need to go to the garage...

Does not work for me even if I cut and paste in a new browser.

I've just posted Avi and Youtube videos. Should be able to post the embedded code.

That looks like the same tanks that were around 8 or so years ago. We had a bunch that leaked out of the valves. Our vendor replaced them at no cost.
