compressor leaking

I replaced condenser the ac had been down about 6 months it held vacuum I was almost done recharging when I noticed puddle of oil under car looks like compressor is leaking right around the middle of the compressor is there a seal in there that would dry out and fail is this something you can fix or is it a whole new compressor the ac was working great blowing 38 at the vents I added 2 ounces of oil to replace what was lost when condenser failed.

There is an O ring between the halves, it can be replaced, but it's a little tricky.. You might be better off changing it with a reman.. E-mail the guys at ackits.com for a price and availability. I believe it's very similar to an FS10, but has another number.... Hope this helps..
