Ok.... on my way to searching for a leak during the vac pumping stage, I sprayed soapy water onto the low side nipple. Found the leak, (nipple was being obstructed by a heater hose enough to cause the fitting to leak), now water must of been sucked into the vac pump oil. Now the oil thru the sight glass on the pump is milky white.
I disassembled my gauges and cleaned them out with compressed air and some lacquer thinner to clean out all the hoses and the internals of the gauges.
Can I continue with the vac process with that cloudy oil? Or should I replace the oil? I'm using Robinair premium vac pump oil and the most I can pull is 28 Hg.

I would suggest an oil change. But you could still use the vacuum pump as it is not going to inject any oil into your system.

Vac pumps work most efficient with fresh clean oil,i would replace it ASAP.
